Getting Started
Joining the Eden Network as a block producer is a simple, three-step process
Block producers on the Eden Network receive EDEN block in rewards in addition to ETH block rewards and transactions fees. Eden Block Producers always preserve the ability to include transaction bundles, as well as earn tips from transactions under EIP-1559.
Joining the Eden Network as a block producer is a simple, three-step process:
  1. 1.
    Run Eden-Geth (GitHub)
  2. 2.
Open endpoints to Eden Network (Eden-Proxy)
  3. 3.
    Join EdenDAO (Form)
Eden Block Producers augment their income with a predictable stream of EDEN tokens. The amount of EDEN received per block mined is a function of the block producer's share of hashrate proportional to the total Eden Network hashrate.

Run Eden-Geth

Eden-Geth is database compatible with vanilla Geth and MEV-Geth, which means you can simply replace your existing Geth binary with Eden-Geth and continue on with near-zero downtime.

Open endpoints

For the Eden Network to send bundles and private transactions to you, the eth RPC endpoints must be accessible, including eth_sendBundle and eth_sendSlotTxs.

Using Eden-Proxy

Typically, block producers will wish to place some permissioned infrastructure rather than directly exposing the RPC. When onboarding you will be asked to provide an endpoint with these RPC methods available.
One simple way to guard access is to run Eden-Proxy, which is a simple reverse JSON RPC proxy that exposes just the required methods.
